Who we are

onsait is a climbing coaching platform, currently in development.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is Dmitrii Aleksandrovich Usanov, reachable at hello@onsait.app.

We expect to register onsait as a Dutch business in September 2026. When we do, the registered business will become the data controller and this page will be updated.

What we collect

At this stage, onsait is not yet open for signups. The only personal data we collect is what you give us when you join our waiting list.

If you join as a climber, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your first name
• Your city
• What you would like coaching help with

If you join as a coach, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your first name
• Your city
• The gym you are affiliated with
• How many years you have been coaching

We also record the date and time you gave consent.

We do not collect payment details, health data, or training data at this stage.

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to let you know when onsait opens for signups, and to send occasional updates on our progress before then.

The legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the waiting list form. You can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights below).

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build profiles or target you elsewhere.

Who else has access

We use a small number of service providers to run the waiting list. They process data on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Supabase — stores the waiting list database. Hosted in the EU.
• Resend — sends the confirmation and update emails. Hosted in the EU.
• Vercel — hosts the website.

We also use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

How long we keep it

While you are on the waiting list, we keep your details until whichever comes first:

• Twelve months after onsait opens for signups, or
• The moment you ask us to delete them.

If you unsubscribe before then, your details are erased at that point and only your email address is kept, as described under Your rights below.

If you create an onsait account when we launch, your account data will be covered by a separate policy at that point.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Ask for a copy of it in a portable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Object to how we are using it

To do any of these, email hello@onsait.app. We will respond within 30 days. There is no cost.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which removes you from the waiting list immediately. Your name, city and anything else you told us is erased at that point. We keep only your email address, on a short suppression list, so that we do not contact you again or add you back by mistake. To have that removed as well, email us and we will delete it.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Cookies

The waiting list does not set tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will let you know by email. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
